This holiday season, Conrad Washington, DC transforms into a winter wonderland beginning November 15, featuring a stunning 18-foot Christmas tree as the centerpiece of our soaring third-floor atrium, surrounded by custom-made giant pandas honoring both our hotel mascot and the return of pandas to the National Zoo. Our thoughtfully designed public spaces become a sophisticated retreat for gathering, celebrating, and being inspired.
Families will delight in our special Kids’ Corner located near the Concierge desk, where little ones can write letters to Santa, play dreidel, and admire a menorah celebrating Hanukkah.
The season officially begins with CityCenterDC’s Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 29, where guests may enjoy a coveted vantage point overlooking the 70-foot illuminated tree from the lounge at Estuary. Sip handcrafted seasonal cocktails and savor elevated fare as the city glows with holiday cheer.
At Estuary, families can also enjoy our highly anticipated Brunch with Santa on Sunday, December 21, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM—an experience designed to create lasting holiday memories. (Reservations are highly recommended – scroll down to “experiences”).
Join us this holiday season as we celebrate an upscale take on a traditional Christmas dinner. This four-course prix-fix menu combines the comforting classics you expect to see on any Christmas table with Estuary’s singularly bold take on Chesapeake cuisine. This elevated menu includes a selection of plated small bites and salad, culminating in a show stopping spread of dry aged prime beef tenderloin, and heritage raised turkey, served alongside festive seasonal sides. Available from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM for $135 per person. For an even grander experience, indulge in thoughtful wine pairings curated by Beverage Director Nial Harris-Garcia for $95. These carefully-selected wines showcase some of the best examples of American viticulture and production. For children under 12 years $50. Welcome the New Year at Estuary savor the newly launched dinner menu in the main dining room, overlooking CityCenter’s dazzling Christmas tree and the open kitchen. The New Year’s Day Restoration experience invites guests to reset and recharge in a refined, lounge-style setting designed for comfort and connection. Hosted by the Conrad Hotel and Estuary Restaurant on New Year’s Day from 10:00AM- 2:00 PM in Estuary’s stunning Blue Willow Room, this elevated morning unfolds as a relaxed yet indulgent retreat. Guests enjoy access to the New Year Restoration Lounge for up to two hours with plush seating, or the invigorating mixture crisp winter air and ambient warmth by our outdoor firepit — and a seamless indoor–outdoor flow. The experience includes an unlimited raw bar and full bar access featuring classic brunch favorites alongside thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic signature drinks. Each guest may also select one entrée from Estuary’s brunch menu, featuring a unique perspective on Chesapeake cuisine. Reservations are limited and strongly recommended; walk-ins will be accommodated as capacity allows.
